We are a Zen sangha in New England offering Zen training in the tradition of the Diamond Sangha. Our members are distributed up and down the east coast and we typically hold two sesshin a year in Massachusetts or Connecticut. Sesshin are led by our teacher Nelson Foster, dharma heir of the founder of the Diamond Sangha, Robert Aitken.
We also have three Zendos that offer weekly Zazen and occasional zazenkai that welcome both experienced and new meditators. They are located on Martha’s Vineyard in Massachusetts, New Haven, Connecticut, and New Bedford, MA and. We encourage you to read about our sangha and teacher and reach out if you have questions.
